The Product Table (Database) is basically a list of all vendor products and in-house prepared products used in a restaurant’s operation. When the user portions a product in an analysis, the application derives a cost for the portion based on the data stored in the table. FoodByte simplifies the user’s process of building the initial Product Table (database). The user selects products from an internal master list. FoodByte automatically forms the initial database using the user’s selections. Products not in the initial Database are added in the Product window or can be added during an analysis.
